| | Eileen Ivers is of course first and foremost a great fiddler, famous as a solo artist, as Seamus Egan's long time duo partner and from bands like The Chanting House, The Green Fields Of America, The Seamus Egan-Eileen Ivers Band and perhaps above all Cherish The Ladies. What is less known, is that she's an acomplished banjoist too. In fact took the first of her 35(!) All Ireland Champion titles as a banjoist at the tender age of nine (coming second in the fiddle class that same year).
