I just realized that, though I have articles and links to articles about Internet presence, such as setting up your web site, I don't have any organized links to articles on using "Social Media." So I'm starting this thread here.
It's interesting how much of the indie musician's self-promotion relies on "social media" these days. To some it's a "rabbit hole" they go down and never escape, to some it's a "necessary evil," and to some it's a fun way to connect with people. Here is South African singer-songwriter Joanne Cooper's take on using Facebook to connect with fans worldwide.
