looks like the example to the right and should be quite self-explanatory, but just in case:<P>At the top is the name of the chord.<BR>Below that is the chord written out in standard staff notation.<BR>Then it's the chord diagram itself. The vertical lines are the strings, the horizontal ones the frets. The roman numeral to the left of the diagram shows which fret it starts with. You'll have to figure out that yourself.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;A black bar across the whole diagram implies a barr&eacute; (put your index finger across all the strings).<BR><BR>An <U>x</U> above a string means that it shouldn't be used for the chord.<BR><BR>The numbers above the string indicate which note in the chord each string plays.
